Wow... Despite how freaked out I was about it, Regional Honor Choir is amazing. We were at the place from 9am untill 9pm on Friday then hotel'd it then got there again at 9am today and finished about 5pm ish. But wow, the experience is incredible. We have a Male second soprano, is that crazy or is it just me? I swear, he sings higher than most of you I know from choir. He can ever hit the "Beth-Rachel" notes if he tried =P
My Favorite Song is called "With a Lily in your Hand" But its Crazy as hell. Its 7 part (Optional Soprano split at the end can make it 8) and its in a very interesting time signature. What time do you ask? All of them. Yes, I said all. I don't really mean all but every measure almost is a different measure. Heres the order of the first 2 pages out of 10:

4/4, 6/8, 2/4, 8/8, 3/4, 6/8, 2/4, 6/8, 2/4, 6/8, 3/4, 6/8, 2/4. Thats 13 different time signatures for the first 15 measures. Yes, its that crazy, but its also the coolest sounding song we have. Theres also this incredibly beautiful sounding one that I'm gettin a 6 person group (More known as our Tri-M student Concert Choir Group)to do it because its really easy and we're going to do it for the opening of the PAL (On Friday, Only less than a week away and only like 1 or 2 max rehersals to learn it! But we should be good cause we're using sheet music. Also, the director is incredible. Shes pretty damn tough because she'll stop the whole choir if she heard 1 person off (Which shes that good to hear 1 person out of 160+) She was also the director for the San Jose State University Choralies for a long ass time untill she retired last year. She led them to like 19 or so competitions. She's incredible, too bad I only get to have her for one more day. We perform tomorrow! Excited! Weeeeeeee. Oh well, I'll update over thanksgiving break sometime.

P.S. If you're bored early thanksgiving Visit me at work =[ I work from 9-2 (Not that I want to, but, double my pay I guess is a good reason to work)

Kind of an uneventful day, I was fine, but Rehersal kinda killed me.

Not like strength/energy wise, but more like the reality hitting that I can't have that song.

It's really the only song I like in the song in the musical. Hell, I ADORE it. Its one of my favorite songs from a musical since the day I heard it. But, he, I guess I'll survive.


Hopefully someday I'll be able to do 'Working' again and just be able to do this one song....
